Waterproof Testing
We can waterproof test your watch to ensure it is sealed and safe for use in water, and we do it while you wait. This procedure can be commonly referred to as "sealing a watch" or "pressurizing a watch". While they essentially mean the same thing these phrases can be misleading. The test used to determine a watches water resistance is achieved by applying pressure to the outside of the watch case and measuring for a leak. If a leak is detected the faulty gasket (or seal) is replaced and the watch is retested. This is all done in front of you while you wait. Please note: This is the only way we can determine if a watch is safe to use in water.
